i know i touched on this briefly before but like… truly honestly i cannot imagine a worse ending for naruto and sasuke’s characters than to literally make them the next incarnation of danzo and hiruzen that was such bad writing on so many levels
like making hiruzen and danzo a naruto/sasuke parallel in the first place was stupid, but then having sasuke literally grow up to take the place of the man who was responsible for the genocide of his entire clan, and making naruto take the place of the man who neglected and abandoned him for his entire childhood, and then compounding that by making naruto essentially do the same things to his own son for literally next to the same reasons like………. can you even imagine fucking up that badly lkjhgfd
